8 Bishopsgate is a landmark 50-storey tower on the corner of Bishopsgate and Leadenhall Street. The UK’s tallest building to achieve BREEAM Outstanding, it combines 560,000 sq ft of office space with an array of amenities including a 200-seat auditorium, welcoming places to eat and drink, and terraces to take in the astounding views. All in all, it’s a brilliant backdrop for business.
Where we started
Our vision was to optimise the full potential of this prominent City of London site, developing a 50-storey, environmentally responsible tower on the corner of Bishopsgate and Leadenhall Street, filled with vibrant, generous spaces for working, recharging and coming together.

What we did
Seriously sustainable
Completed in May 2023 in partnership with Mitsubishi Estate, this 50-storey building comprises 560,000 sq ft of offices characterised by an elegant material palette, high levels of natural light, excellent air quality, and a landscaped communal terrace. Sustainable by design, 8 Bishopsgate is the first tower to speculatively target — and now achieve — a BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A rating. The building has been developed to achieve low embodied carbon in both construction and operation — helping the people and businesses working here to meet their own sustainability targets, now and in the future.
Bursting with amenity
Ensuring 8 Bishopsgate is promising for people as well as planet, this place is bursting with amenity. Over 75,000 sq ft of the building is designed for learning, relaxing and gathering, including the Think Tank, a 200-seat auditorium — plus meeting rooms and executive suites, the Corner Café, the Twenty Six Kitchen, Bar & Terrace, and multiple private terraces. 8 Bishopsgate also features The Lookout, a free public viewing gallery and event space on the 50th floor with stunning views.
