55 Bishopsgate
Introducing a sustainable tower shaped by nature
Our development of 55 Bishopsgate will see an elegant nature-inspired tower rise high above the City of London. Boasting some of the best views in the capital and targeting a BREEAM Outstanding score for its ultra efficient design, everyone will be invited to enjoy this stunning and sustainable building.
What’s coming
Great for business and the planet
Designed by architects Arney Fender Katsalidis, the redevelopment will create 125,000 sq m of new commercial and public space, while delivering a world-class performance in sustainability. The ground floor amenity will be fully open to the public, offering a wide range of spaces to explore — including a water wall and landscaped edges.
Uninterrupted views
The tower will be crowned by a public conservatory with beautifully biodiverse planting, flexible spaces to suit a variety of uses, and a unique viewing platform offering a spectacular 360-degree view of London.
Seriously sustainable
The tapered structure, inspired by nature and based on the Fibonacci Sequence, has been thoughtfully designed around sustainability. Set to bring a highly energy efficient addition to London’s skyline, the building’s embodied carbon emissions will also be kept to a minimum during the construction phase. A ‘smart skin’ double facade has been incorporated into the design to reduce solar glare and energy emissions.
