Where we started
With advances in science and technology converging like never before, the world needs places that facilitate discovery as a team sport. To achieve great things, scientists and technologists have to work together — and they need uplifting, inspiring spaces to think, work, rest and explore.
At Oxford North, a new innovation district opening in 2025, we’re creating a meeting point and launchpad for diverse practitioners across science and technology. Rooted in the storied city of Oxford as an influential melting pot of ideas, research, invention and investment, this will be a place to answer tomorrow’s biggest questions.

What we’re doing
A new meeting point for Oxford
Our vision for Oxford North is not only to unlock life-saving science and technology discoveries, but to create a lively new district, stitched into one of the greatest cities in the world. We’re building a place where people love to live, work, visit and learn — somewhere which means something special to everyone. With over a million sq ft of labs and workspaces, 480 new homes, three new public parks and 26,000 sq ft of amenities, our goal is to boost the economy by around £150 million in GVA each year — and generate priceless social value.

Oxford North has been designed by a talented team of masterplanners, architects, and specialist consultants, ensuring it connects meaningfully with a wide range of people and injects life, learning and fun into the local area. While our resident scientists and technologists are busy accomplishing new firsts, public visitors pedal and stroll through our wide-open green spaces and get stuck into a busy arts and culture programme.
