Drawing on our experience with major innovation and science projects at White City Place, Oxford North and, soon, Cambridge Science Park and British Library — we’re excited to be working as joint development partners with Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation to realise their vision for Royal Street. This new high-growth, knowledge-based cluster of international significance will come to life on a 5.5 acre site opposite St Thomas’ Hospital.

What’s coming

A neighbourhood of innovators

Working with masterplan architects AHMM, the scheme will deliver a new neighbourhood of innovative workspaces in SE1 — all designed to accommodate a diverse mix of occupiers across the knowledge sector. Due for completion in 2030, this ambitious project will include the incubation of a MedTech cluster of companies, academic researchers and clinicians.

The perfection location

Royal Street is located next door to St Thomas’ Hospital, close to Waterloo Station. St Thomas’ is one of the major academic research centres and education providers in England as part of King’s Health Partners (KHP) — one of 8 UK Academic Health Sciences Centres alongside Imperial, UCL, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Oxford and Cambridge. Served by excellent transport links, Royal Street is the ideal location for a MedTech cluster — an innovative place where medicine and academia come together in dialogue.
